Solving trig equations

tan(thetha) +√3=0 
 
When I move the radical 3 to the rIght side, it becomes negative. I dont know how to solve when its negative. 
 
The question is asking to find exact solutions between [ 0, 360) degrees

Nicholas, I think that the students & tutors should recognize the exactness (involving square root of 3) of the tangent value, and therefore should be able to use a reference triangle of the 30-60-90 type, rather than resorting to using calculator's arctangent function to get the angle (in radians) and then having to convert to degrees.
 
There should not have been any use of the calculator on this problem.

Thanks for your comments. I will consider it from now.
 
My short experience  (2 yrs) tutoring was for College in my own country. My core experience is in Earth Sciences and I'm starting my steps for tutoring at lower grades. I like help kids and teenagers, and your comment (and from others tutors associated with WyzAnt) have been valuable for me.
