Let h = horses, c = cows, and s= sheep
'18 more horses than cows' ---> c +18 = h (1)
'13 fewer cows than sheep' ---> s = c +13 (2)
'15 cows' ----> c = 15
'how many more horses than sheep' ----> h-s = ?
Given than c =15, from (1) 15+ 18 = h = 33
and from (2), s = 15 +13 = 28
Therefore, h - s = 33 - 28 = 5
So there are 5 more horses than sheep
