Solve each equation for the variable : 200(1.06)^t=550

i am having trouble with this question

1.06t = 2.75
ln 1.06t = ln 2.75
t ln 1.06 = ln 2.75

How did u get 2.75 ?

Did you notice that the Left Hand Side of the equation was divided by 200?  
In order to keep the equation balanced, the same operation (division by 200) had to be applied to the Right Hand Side of the equation.
