1. When should I recommend dynamic routing to a client instead of static or default routing?”

2. The second question is, “If the client needs dynamic routing, then I how do I decide between RIP, OSPF, and EIGRP?”

1. For most instances, dynamic routing should be chosen unless you are using only one or two routers. Entering the static routes in manually is a time consuming process and its easy to make a mistake.
2. To decide the routing protocol, first look at the routers in your network. if they are all Cisco routers then EIGRP is a good choice as it is a Cisco proprietary protocol. Otherwise look at how many routers are in your network. If you have a small amount then RIP is fine, however for larger size networks OSPF is a better choice.
