How to graph inverse functions

Hi, I need help graphing this function. Its asking to graph the function f(x)=x2-2 and to also graph the inverse of it.m

All relations/functions do have inverses! Not all inverses of functions are functions. If the inverse of a function is a function, the functions are said to be one-to-one

Thank you Mark for the clarification. I was actually confused when trying to graph the function in my question so I guess thats why I was lost.
