Don't worry that the numerator is larger than the denominator; this does not affect whether or not you can reduce the fraction. What is important about this problem is that the numerator and denominator have a common factor, 11. Because you can divide them both by 11, you can reduce the entire fraction to 4/3. (44/11=4, and 33/11=3.)

44/11=4

This is 4/3.
