Hi, how do I create the piecewise function for : 
 
y= | 2x-4|

y = 2x-4 if 2x-4 is non-negative, i.e. when x ≥ 2
 
y = -(2x-4) otherwise.
 
So  y = 2x-4, x  ≥ 2

         = -2x + 4, x < 2

Why the DOWN vote??  This is the answer, and it's stated in mathematical terms...two expressions, with the conditions that apply to each--instead of using absolute value 'bars.'
