How do I factor this trinomial that has a radical ?

x2 +3√2 x —5=0

Your answer does not multiply out to equal the original quadratic. If you look carefully, the left side on your second line is incorrect. When you complete the square, the 3√2 should be halved. The right side is correct. Please edit as soon as you can.
