Using a cumulative z-score table (which gives you the area of the curve to the LEFT of the z-score in question, just subtract the value you find from 1.00.

 

In this case, the table value for z = 1.34 is .9099 (which is the area to the LEFT of 1.34.  So,

 

1.00 - .9099 = .0901 or approximately 9% of the area lies to the RIGHT of 1.34.
