Perhaps you mean how does the diagonal of a rectangle increase as the angle formed by the diagonal and the horizontal side of the rectangle increases. For this growth to occur, we would hold the horizontal base side of rectangle contant, and increase the acute angle in a series of experiments, from 1 degree up to 89 degrees. When the angle grows, so does the adjacent (vertical) side of the rectangle.
This is tantamound to study of the trigonometric tangent ratio in acute triangles.
