The unit circle is 2rad. In degrees, a circle is 360degree. Thus, 2πrad = 360degree ==> 1rad = (360/2π) degrees = 180/π degrees. With the same type of thinking we see that 1 degree = (2π)/360 rad = π/180 rad.
