4 + 0.6(3 - y) = 0.3y - 7(y - 0.8)

Ive tried this a number of times and can not find how to get to the answer of y = 0

4+0.6(3-y)=0.3y-7(y-0.8)

4+1.8-0.6y=0.3y-7y+5.6

5.8-0.6y=-6.7y+5.6

5.8-5.6=0.6y-6.7y

0.2=-6.1y

2=-61y

2/-61=y

y=-2/61, not y=0

I checked the answer and it's correct.

Did you make a mistake in writing down the problem ?
