So we have $2550 in cash and 70 employees. The employees are 40 full timers and 30 part timers. I want to divide into cash bonuses with the part time employees getting half of what the full time employees get.

Let x be the amount full timers will get.

 

40x + 30(.5x) = 2550

 

40x + 15x = 2550

 

55x = 2550

 

55x/55 = 2550/55

 

x = $46.36

 

so, full time employees get $46.36 and part time employees get $23.18
