word problem in Algebra

I am given the following word problem in Algebra:
 
Frozen (quarter-pound) hamburger patties cost $5. 80 for 12. How many can be purchased for $7.00?
 
Please help me. I am confused.

1 patty cost $5.80/12 =$0.48

As each patty cost $0.48, divide $7.00 by $0.48.  The result is 14.583.  This means that we can get 14 whole patties for $7.00, the cost for 15 would exceed $7.00.
