If you are reflecting any point (x,y) over the x axis then the x coordinate does not change but the new y coordinate becomes the negative of the old y coordinate so the transformation is (x,y) --> (x,-y).
The transformation (x,y) --> (x,y+2) describes a translation up 2 units, not a reflection.
