Question

Find the exact value of tan(2θ) for the trigonometric expression given where is located in the Quadrant II and tan(θ)=-4/3.

 

Please walk me through it. I'm having a really hard time.

I'm speculating that it's most likely that your question is asking for tan(2θ); an excellent opportunity to use the formula

tan(2θ) = 2(tanθ) / (1-tan²θ).
