I was a camp counselor at a sleepover ranch camp in Malibu.  At breakfast every morning, each counselor constructed a days schedule including 3 morning and 3 afternoon activities and listed them  on a full camp chart.  After all 6 counselors were done, I would make sure there were no overlaps in scheduled activities and that pool was scheduled once a day for every counselor.  To help the team and Director, I would propose a night activity and organize it for the whole camp.
