The circumference of a circle is 64 pi meters. Find the diameter of the circle.

Need help with this problem. I looked it up to see how some people did it, and it came up the opposite, with area instead of circumference.

In this connection, it's useful to remember the definition of Pi: The ratio of Circumference to Diameter, for any circle.
C=(pi)d. All circles are similar!

Yes, I chose C = 2 pi r because that's the formula that most people are more familiar with, and to me, the fewer formulas, the better.  But to each his own, definitely!
