2/3 km = 4/6 km
Each tick on the number line represents 1/6 km. From point P, move 4 ticks to the right (2/3 = 4/6 km east) to point a. From point a, move 11 ticks to the left (11/6 km west) to point b. You are at 4/6 - 11/6 = -7/6, or 7/6 (1 1/6) km west of point P.

From point P Rahul went 2/3 km East.
(2/3)(2/2) = 4/6 km East
Rahul then turns around and goes 11/6 km West.
At 4/6 km he is back at point P. He continues
West another 7/6 km and ends up 7/6 km West
of point P
