How would this problem be solved?

 

During the Hunger Games in the book, 24 contestants fight to the death until only 1 is standing.  This last person standing is declared the winner.  How many orders are possible in which the contestants could have been eliminated?  Assume that only 1 contestant is eliminated at a time.  Show all work.
