Use examples and non-examples to support or disprove that the Commutative property can be applied to Addition and Subtraction of two fraction.

1/2 + 1/3 = 5/6 = 1/3 + 1/2 order doesn't matter

(1/2)(1/3) = 1/6 = (1/3)(1/2) same with multiplication

but 1/2-1/3 = 1/6 which doesn't = 1/3-1/2 = -1/6
