A field-goal kicker has a 90% success rate for field goals less than 40 yards. What is the probability that the kicker will make the next four out of four field goal attempts under 40 yards?

The kicker has a 90% success rate every time he kicks a goal less than 40 yards. Every time he kicks the ball from this range he has a 90% chance to make the goal. For a success rate of hitting all 4 goals in a row is (.90)(.90)(.90)(.90)= .66 

 

This makes since, as every time he kicks the ball he  has a 10% chance of missing the goal. With 4 trys he would have a 40% chance of missing one out of the four.
