What is the difference between angular velocity and angular frequency?

And when are they considered the same?

Yes but it is not a normal frequency, it is Angular velocity which is written by omega symbol...

f is linear frequency or frequency you say...w=(2)x(pie)x(f) where 'w' is angular frequency...

are angular frequency and angular velocity represented by same sign w(omega).........bcoz w(omega)=theeta/t here w is angular velocity and w=2pie/t here w is angular frequency
