Find the derivative of the function.

g(x)=(5x^3+1)^4

 

Could you please explain which derivative rules apply to this problem and how to apply them?

I got as far as 4(15x^2+1)^3 which I think is right using the power rule, but I'm not sure where to go next.

You have to continue -derive the x^3 too ... x^2 is missing

 

g(x)=(5x^3+1)^4

 

g'(x)=4(5x^3+1)^3*(5*3x^2) = 60*(5x^3+1)^3*x^2

4(5x^3 + 1)^3  * 15x^2
