The answer is A, for sure. President F. D. Roosevelt acted decisively, and Congress largely approved, as he put through plans for agencies and actions to stem the stagnation and depression that continued all through President Hoover's sad 1-term presidency. Young people of today need to learn about FDR, with open minds, to appreciate the truth of his magnificent resuscitation of this country. Then when WW II came along, he (and Churchill) led the fight against the Axis powers (Hitler's Nazis, Tojo's Japanese war cabinet and Mussolini's Fascists in Italy). A truly Herculean leader who led USA's rise to world greatness. (Said greatness is seriously threatened by today's worse than do-nothing Congress and the general deterioration of the political scene.)
