Remember that velocity is speed and direction. So at the end of this question make sure that you find the speed in km/h of the motorcycle and that you tell me what direction it is going in. 

 

Because we want to know how many kilometers the motorcycle travels in 1 hour, lets say that the motorcycle will travel x kilometers in 1 hour. 

 

Thus;

 

75 km/1.5 hours=x km/1 hour

 

x= 50 km

 

Thus the motorcycle has been traveling at 50 km every hour which is the same as 50km/hr

The velocity has the same magnitude as the speed and it points east. The magnitude of the velocity can stay constant but the direction can change, therefore changing the velocity while the speed remains the same.

 

v = 75km/1.5h = 50 km/h due east
