Ten friends are having a potluck. Each person brings a dish for a total of 10 dishes. Of the 10 dishes, 4 are vegetarian. Jenna will randomly select three dishes to eat.

Well i hope you are familiar with combinations which is what i am going to use to solve the above probability

 

P(3 vegetarian dishes ) = 4 C 3 / 10 C 4

 

 

The chances of her picking all vegetarian would 4 choose 3 divided by the total number of possibilities which is 10 choose 4

 

P = 4 / 210 = 2 / 105 

 

= 0.019 probability of choosing all 3 vegetarian dishes thats your answer.
