How to factor these 3 questions?

Hi , I need help factoring these , if possible with steps so I can better understand. 
 
1.  a^3(a+b)^2 + b^3(a+b)^2
 
2. 8x^4(x-4) - 27x(x-4)
 
3. (x+1)^2 -(x+1) -6

As a follow-up to Marlene's response to #3, an alternate approach:
 
Let "u=x+1", we can rewrite the problem as "(u2-u-6)".
Factor as "(u+2)(u-3)"
Substitute back "x+1" for "u" to get...
(x+1+2)(x+1-3) and simplify...
(x+3)(x-2)...identical solution to Marlene's calculation, explanation
