Mathematically speaking, your wall is 65*94/144 = 42.43 sq. ft. Your squares are 1 sq. ft. But if this is a real world construction / decorating problem, there are many variables. Is it paint, paper, or some kind of tile? What kind of pattern? Since neither dimension is a multiple of 12, how will you break it up? Partial square on all four sides or just two? If your pattern is on an angle, or brick pattern, you'll have many partial squares all around. The general rule of thumb for professionals is allow for 10% margin of error. Amateurs should use a higher margin.
