Radius=2. What is r=2csc (pi/4). How do you do it with csc to get either sine or cosine. Confused.

Use the conversion.

Csc x = 1/ sin x

 

r=2csc (pi/4) = 2/ [sin (pi/4)] = √2

 

There seems to be an error in the problem.

You say that radius =2. Yet r (I assume this to be the radius) = √2.

You may want to check the problem again.
