Is your slope 5 or -5?
You changed the problem in your expanded version
For slope m=-5 thru (-8,7)
using the point slope form y-y1 = m(x-x1)
y-7 = -5(x-(-8))
y-7 = -5(x+8)
y - 7 = -5x - 40
You said to find the equation in "slope" form...
Do you mean slope intercept form? y=mx+b
If so, solve for y
y = -5x -33
