First, divide both sides by 2 to get:

x2-10x=4; Or it can be written as x2-10x-4=0;

Use quadratic formula for even coefficient at the x term. You will get:

x1,2=5±√(25+4)=5±√29

Answer:

x1=5-√29
x2=5+√29
