           pressure(p) =force(f)/unit area(a), 1 pascal=1newton/m² f=mg where g=9.8m/sec² m=mass of the book †his is what we are looking for

you were told that the area(a)=.3*.5=.15m² (of the title face)

 

Putting all this together gives mg/a=p solving for m gives m=a*p/g=.15*.5/9.8=.00765kg
