STAT Help!


1)   A 3 x 5 table is considered to test the association of two variables having 3 and 5 categories respectively. A Chi-square test statistic with value 19.0 was obtained. What is the degrees of freedom associated with this test?
 
2)   A 3 x 5 table is considered to test the association of two variables having 3 and 5 categories respectively. A Chi-square test statistic equal to 19.0 was obtained. The p-value for a non-directional test is then:
 
Answer: between 0.01 and 0.02 (Check please!)
