in a republicanism form of goverment, the people have o say about who the goverment officials are

please help me i need to turn in tommorow this is a  TRUE or FALSE question

I agree with Daniel P., on the assumption that your original statement was supposed to be ". . . the people have no say about . . . ." I'd also like to add that not just members of a legislative body that are elected by the people in a republican form of government, but government officials at any level, from a head of government like a president or mayor right down to a member of local town council and many judicial officials may be chosen to serve through the vote of the people. That is the essence of a republic: representative government, rather than direct rule by the people which is the actual definition of democracy.
