For each of the following vectors, find a value for x for which the vector is a probability vector.
(1)
[0.1, 0.2, 0.2, x, 0.3]
x=
(2)
[x, 0.4, 0, x, 0.4]
x=
(3)
[x, 0, 2x, 0.2, x]
x=
(4)
[2x, 2x, 4x, 3x, 3x]
x=
(1)
[0.1, 0.2, 0.2, x, 0.3]
x=
(2)
[x, 0.4, 0, x, 0.4]
x=
(3)
[x, 0, 2x, 0.2, x]
x=
(4)
[2x, 2x, 4x, 3x, 3x]

========================
What is needed here is that find the value of x, in each question, so that the sum of indices for the given vector ends up with unity. X must be non-negative.
Thus, you can make it yourself - but, anyway, say for
#1 X=0.2
#2 X=0.1
#3 2.2X+0.2=1 2.2.X=0.8 x=0.3636...
#4 X=1/14
Good luck:)
