A. y = 20 / x?

 

If x = 1, then y = 20x, but

 

If x = 2, then y = 10, therefore A is not the correct answer.

 

B. y = 20 + x?

 

If x = 0, then y = 20, but

 

If x = 1, then y = 21, therefore B is not the correct answer.

 

C. y = 20x?

 

if x = 1, then y = 20, y is 20 times larger than x.

 

if x = 10, then y = 200, y is 20 times larger than x

 

Therefore, C is the correct answer.

 

D. y = c  - x?

 

We do not have to check D because we found C to be the correct answer.
