How do you make a quadratic equation given the solutions?

Well I am not sure if this is the easiest way but you could try to do this.

 

Say your solutions are x=1 and x=2.

 

If you put them in an equation like this:

 

(x-1)(x-2)=0

 

You can then foil out the two quantities to get:

 

x²-3x+2=0
