When x = 0 -----> f(x)=-(2)^3-2 = -10

when x=-2 -----> f(x)=0-2=-2

when x=2 ------> f(x)=-(4)^3-2 = -66

when x = -4 ---> f(x)=-(-2)^3-2=6

 

so as we see the vale of f(x) increasing from negative to positive as the value of x is decreasing from positive to negative and there is no limits or restrictions for increase and decrease.

 

Therefore the domain is {-∞,∞}

and the range is also {-∞,∞}
