Let's take the equation of a line written in slope intercept form:
y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.
Any multiple of this equation will also be the equation of the line , i.e.
ky = kmx + kb. is also an equation where k is any real number.
The classic expression of a line is Ay + Bx = C is another way to write the equation of a line:
Suppose we had the following equation: 2Y + 4X = 8 we could rewrite this as
Y = -2X + 4 in slope-intercept form There are many ways to skin this cat.
