-8(6n+7)  - To simplify this, you have to remove the ( ) with the distributive property. 
-8 * 6n + (-8) * 7 - This is done by taking what is on the outside of the ( ) and multiplying by each thing inside.
 
-48n + (-56) or -45n - 56 as Ralph put above.
