Hi, I'm Michael. I am here to help.
Start by producing chemical equation. After that, what you essentially will want is the theoretical yield of precipitate. So, from grams of aluminum perchlorate and grams of sodium thiocyanate, go to grams of the precipitate(in chemical equation). the compound that produces the least amount of product is your theoretical yield. Thats for number 1.
Number 2, draw the ionic and net-ionic equation. The spectator ions will be those not participating in the reaction(the elements that do not make up the precipitate are the spectators). Individual ions, count how many ions(elements) are left from the ionic equation.
