Each 1/16 inch, in decimal form, equals 0.0625 inches. Divide
the numerator by the denominator.
So......
1/16=1÷16=0.0625"
2/16=2÷16=0.1250"
...and so on.
Any "full inch" value is placed to left of the decimal.
(ie. "Four-and-nine-sixteenths inches" written in
decimal form is "4-9/16 inches = 4.5625 inches")
