Use synthetic divison to find the quotient and remainder

Once you master synthetic division, you will be able to divide any polynomial with ease and with more efficiency.  No more will you have to rely on the long division method to divide polynomials.  Just like a sage is one with nature, you will become one with synthetic division.

Synthetic division can only be used when the divisor is of the form x-c, where c is a constant.  If the divisor is a polynomial other than one of the form x-c, then long division must still be used.
