A handyman makes $20/hour. His assistant makes $12/hour. They work together for 5 hours,
the the assistant leaves to do another job. The total bill was $200. How many hours “extra” did
the handyman work after the assistant left?

Cool so give hours together = 32 × 5

 

= 160

 

200 - 160 = 40

 

So the amount of hours the handy man worked = 40 / 20

 

= 2 hours
