Bob plants a small garden next to his garage. The side of the garage is one length of the
enclosed rectangle. The other length and two sides are enclosed using 56 feet of fence. If the
lengh of the rectangle is 14 more than the width, find the length of the enclosed garden.

We have a value for L, so let's put that in:

56 = w + 14 + 2w

Simplify:

56 = 3w + 14

Subtract 14 from both sides:

42 = 3w
