Given the slope intercept form y = mx + b
Where m is the slope of the line and (0,b) is the y-intercept
We have the slope m = 3
We can use the given point (-2,5) as our (x,y) values to find b
5 = 3(-2) + b
5 = -6 + b
b = 11
The equation of the line in slope intercept form is y = 3x + 11
