How would I find the slope of the line passing through (-3,1) and (2,-1)

slope formula:
 
(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
 
let (-3,1) be (x1, y1) and (2,-1) be (x2, y2)
 
so,
 
(-1 - 1)/(2 - (-3)) = -2/5
 
slope is -2/5
