Standard form is written as follows
Ax+By=C
you have a point and a slope so you can start by writing the equation in point slope form where m is the slope and y1 and x1 are from the coordinate you were given.
y-y1=m(x-x1)
so that becomes
y-0=6(x-8)
then simplified to
y=6x-48
to get to standard form you need both variables on one side of the equation so subtract 6x from both sides and you end up with
-6x+y=-48
or alternatively subtracting y and -48 from both sides
6x-y=48
