First you calculate a Z score for each weight Z=(X-μ)/σ where μ=148 lbs and σ=32.8 lbs
I got -.24 and 1.52 you then go to a table or computer and calculate the probability that a randomly chosen pilot would have a weight between those two values. I got P(-,24<Z<1.52)=.5306
